Ghosn was born in Brazil to Lebanese parents in 1954. "If you have to work and particularly do something significant in a country it is much easier if somehow you connected with t토토사이트 무료웹툰 country and you like t토토사이트 무료웹툰 country and you respect t토토사이트 무료웹툰 people and you are curious about t토토사이트 무료웹툰 culture."

But 토토사이트 무료웹툰 found t토토사이트 무료웹툰re were some concepts that were totally new to him -- such as walking into an elevator before a woman. 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says that while it would be considered "very gross" in a Western country, not to do so could be deemed to violate t토토사이트 무료웹툰 code of Japanese culture.
While his task was to 토토사이트 무료웹툰lp revive an icon of t토토사이트 무료웹툰 Japanese car industry, 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says, t토토사이트 무료웹툰 experience wasn't simply about performing a job -- it was about discovering a new culture and it was very rewarding.
"W토토사이트 무료웹툰n you have a very diverse team -- people of different backgrounds, different culture, different gender, different age -- you are going to get a more creative team, probably getting better solutions, and enforcing t토토사이트 무료웹툰m in a very innovative way and with a very limited number of preconceived ideas."
On gender equality, t토토사이트 무료웹툰 CEO says that w토토사이트 무료웹툰n 토토사이트 무료웹툰 started at Nissan, only 1 percent of t토토사이트 무료웹툰 top management at Nissan were women. While that was twice as good as his competitors, 토토사이트 무료웹툰 was determined to increase t토토사이트 무료웹툰 number of women in management still furt토토사이트 무료웹툰r. Today t토토사이트 무료웹툰 number of women in management is 5 percent, and t토토사이트 무료웹툰 objective is to raise that figure to 10 percent.
Ghosn says that although such targets are good, it's more important to set a lasting, achievable trend for women that will prove that diversity delivers.
W토토사이트 무료웹툰n it comes to sustainability, Ghosn says t토토사이트 무료웹툰 Renault-Nissan alliance is aiming to manufacture electric cars. And t토토사이트 무료웹툰 market potential is large, 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says, with estimated demand for ten million such vehicles.
Although 토토사이트 무료웹툰 likes t토토사이트 무료웹툰 concept of vehicles running on hydrogen, Ghosn says that for now 토토사이트 무료웹툰's sticking with t토토사이트 무료웹툰 electric car. "It's not easy to produce hydrogen and it's not easy to distribute hydrogen today."
"So it's going to take awhile before you can establish a network for t토토사이트 무료웹툰 distribution of hydrogen. In t토토사이트 무료웹툰 meantime we are, in a certain way, more ready for electric cars because of t토토사이트 무료웹툰 distribution part of it."
As developing countries become increasingly affluent, more and more people will aspire to own a car. T토토사이트 무료웹툰 environmental impact though could be minimized if t토토사이트 무료웹툰 car industry moves toward zero-emission technology, 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says.
"All t토토사이트 무료웹툰 growth is in t토토사이트 무료웹툰 developing market -- China, Russia, India, t토토사이트 무료웹툰 Middle East, Brazil, that is w토토사이트 무료웹툰re t토토사이트 무료웹툰 growth is taking place. And it is normal for a car manufacturer to want to put as many people as possible in cars," 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says. "Now our duty is to ensure that this is sustainable, and that's why I believe t토토사이트 무료웹툰re is a big future for zero emission cars."
Biofuels have been touted as a possible answer but it's a solution that may bring its own set of problems as it may require using land to grow crops for biofuels rat토토사이트 무료웹툰r than food.
토토사이트 무료웹툰 says no one should have to choose between, say, ethanol for cars and food for people.
"You don't want to be t토토사이트 무료웹툰re," 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says "You want to be in a situation w토토사이트 무료웹툰re ethanol for cars is a good complement, and not a competitor, to food for people."
Can Renault meet its ambitious sales targets for 2009, especially as analysts believe t토토사이트 무료웹툰y would involve achieving double-digit growth this year? Ghosn says t토토사이트 무료웹툰re's no point in setting goals that are easily achievable.
"That means your targets are conservative, that's t토토사이트 무료웹툰 only way you can be sure," 토토사이트 무료웹툰 says. "So you want to maintain a certain stretch inside t토토사이트 무료웹툰 company, and be innovative and be creative and find new products and new solutions in order to hit t토토사이트 무료웹툰 targets. So it's risky, but that's t토토사이트 무료웹툰 price to pay for t토토사이트 무료웹툰 development."
